Buenos Aires is situated on the southeastern coast of Argentina and on the shore of the Rio de la Plata. Buenos Aires is densely populated, with 2.7 million people living in the city and a further 10 million living in the surrounding region.

Buenos Aires is said to 'live with its back to the river'. Buenos Aires is a strange mix of different European cultures that have blended together to produce a sophisticated metropolitan area.

It is home to non-stop action, first-world infrastructure, and high living standards. Buenos Aires is the hub of Argentina and the country’s business centre so there’s never a shortage of teaching jobs.
